Last couple of days, my right hand and wrist has been painful. Almost like muscle cramp or muscle ache and I'm wondering what it could be. I did play around with a object that was supposed to strengthen your fingers by working it out (as weird as that sounds). My husband's friend had that in his house and I was playing around with it recently; could that be the reason?

Common over-use injury. Rest, dip in warm water twice a day and take advil. You will get better!

If you've never had it before, it's most likely it was just that little workout you did. If you don't play an instrument and don't exercise your fingers regularly, of course they'll be sore. Same thing will happen if you do 75 pushups. Bear in mind that your fingers are an extension of muscles from your hand to your elbow. I think you're fine! Give your arm a hot water bath with some epsom salt if it persists. And repeat the same movement you did, without resistance (stretch the muscles). That will help remove lactic acid.

Sounds like you may have pulled a muscle or tendon. Try not to use that hand too much. Apply ice or heat, whichever you find helps, for about 10 to 20 minutes every few hourse for a couple of days. Also, ibuprofen can help with the pain. If this doesn't help, see a doctor.

Go to a specialist who treats carpal tunnel syndrome. He is the best person who can diagnose your injury. Try not to use your hand, unless it is the dominate one. If you do, make sure that you do not perform an activities to irritate the wrist and hand.

sometimes too much work with one hand can cause a tendon to slip out of place. if you have insurance go see the Docotr. if not try not using it much until it feels better.
