I would imagine that's clearly copyright infringement. I seriously doubt the buyer would get in any trouble, but the one recording and selling them could get in serious trouble if the government wanted to pursue it. Also, eBay would cancel that auction if they saw it; I know they delete software auctions all the time based on violations of "intellectual property rights".

Yes it's illegal because you don't own the copyright. And very specifically, televised concerts are the most likely bootlegged performances for someone to come after you for. Think about it, if you record and sell an episode of SpongeBob Squarepants, you are ripping the creator off, but if you record and sell a concert performance, you are taking cash that would have gone directly to those involved (the artist, the label, the promoters) if your customer bought the product from them.

They will find you. And they will take all your stuff, and then some! Particularly since you posted your intentions on a public forum!

I love all the self rightous anwers on this subject...record what you want..sell it ....watch it..maybey if some of these "creators"went broke we would have some talented entertaining products come out of the rubble...like I care how many extra millions some artist loses making yet another stupid cartoon'record/movie...

yes the programs show on tv is copyrighted thats why this is illegal to sell copyrighted programs.

Yes, they are copyrighted, unless they are so old that all the copyrights are outdated.
