Just go down to their offices and sign up -- it's that simple! You see, not many other people would like to play professional sports, so it's really easy. Pardon my sarcasm if you're under the age of 12. But really, the way someone breaks into sports like that is usually by playing that sport in high school, then college, etc. So I would focus on just trying to play baseball as much as possible in little leagues and school. If you're good enough, the path to pro will probably be shown to you by coaches and others.

You have to wait until your a free agent to choose what team signs you most likely. Most teams have tryout camps. If you do a search on my previous answer about getting signed you'll find some good links there from me and others which list try out camps. Though camps are a poor way to make the team. Instead transfer to a college that does have baseball. Hound the head coach with things like vids showing you play, how you can be a benifit to him. Get the coach of a scouted college to give you a try out. It may well take months of constant phone calls, emails and snail mail. If you want it bad enough you'll be willing to do the work. And work is what you'll be doing. The compitition is fierce. If your not practicing almost every day and not hitting the weights constantly you have little chance. Also today you have to meet a physical criteria unfortunately. It's held back players like Brian Giles and Edgar Martinez. They thought these guys were too short to play in the majors. You want to be at least 5'10 as a pitcher or at least 6'0 for a posisition player. You can get around this but you have to work twice as hard as others to get the same recognition.

Good luck with your dream. If you make it to the majors send my your baseball card.

I also hope this question is a joke, you have to be good enough to play baseball, and good enough to get the Pro Scouts to come look at you,
