Word to the wise ... Stop washing so much!!!

I had the same problem and finally figured out why. I thought I could wash away the oil, when really I was making it worst. I was washing away the MOISTURE and my skin was over-producing oil to make up for it. You didn't mention this, so I'm just assuming here ... but try cutting down on the washing, use gentler products, etc. Follow up with a good splash of witch hazel and let your skin dry before applying makeup. I also use pure tea tree oil which sounds crazy, but it dries without leaving a trace of oil! It balances out your skin tone and lessens the production of oil. Try it! But definitely try the witch hazel. It's bone cheap at Wal Mart or any drug store. Doesn't smell too hot, but it works wonders on oil.

Be sure you wash your face morning and night. Use a toner for oily skin. If you really need to use a moisturizer make sure it is for oily skin. There are wipes you can get and carry in your purse to help absorb oiliness.
Cutting back on oily, fatty foods should also help.

I have a friend who's face gets very oily. And the thing that works the best for her is the mint julep masks that you spread on your face. Wait 10 minutes and then wash your face. They do help!

Well first off, I would suggest not using alot of makeup. It could clog your pores and only make it worse. Just check out a few products and keep at your daily routine. It will work out I promise you! I have oily skin and I usually carry Clean and Clear's Oil blotter sheets in my purse. They do wonders! They're like $4.99 at most department stores.

You could use something like those acne whipes. You know like NOXEMS and junk (cant spell sorry)

Well I used this stuff once and it dried out my face like QUICK.

Its noxems DAY and NIGHT solution, use the DAY solution over and over - cause that jsut dries ur face - but then ur face gets all peely so the night stuff is a lotion to kinda moisturise it so do it in these steps... DAY DAY NIGHT DAY DAY NIGHT DAY DAY NIGHT - to help the affects of peely skin

hope this helps! :)

first, make sure you wash your face 2-3 times daily. i also have oily skin and i find that if you use topical acne medication like benzaclin it greatly reduces oil and acne. it's amazing. hope this helps :)

Use Olay face cleaning pads, but whatever you do don't wash your face with cold water, EVER, it will cause blackheads. Stop putting on coverup that will only make it worse!

Try washing your face with soap or a facial cleanser. Covering it up does absolutely nothing.

put a ph neutral soap like lever or dove on your face and let it dry then wash off and go from there. and you might want to reduce fried foods.

Try true porefection refining cleanser by avon. Another good thing is oil control lotion. Clinique makes a really good one. That should pretty much do it.
