Not at all...after the fact, there might be some similarities, but never before.

I too, have a lot of similarities to what's said about my sign, as is my friend who has the same birthday. I think our differences are bc of nature and nurture.

I say just use common sense. And how can anyone issue a general statement about a group of people and have it hit dead on every one? Doesn't happen.

I don't believe the predictions but the traits are right when it comes to me. I am capricorn and the horoscope traits explain me so well. And I noticed someone said something about our fate are in God's hands and that we are letting someone we don't know tell us the future, God makes everything including stars horoscopes are results from studying the stars.

I love reading my horoscopes and often believe in them for the shear fun of it but deep down I know that they are fake. If you read any horoscope you can relate it to yourself.

Recently I saw this point demonstrated on Derren Brown's TV programme Trick of the Mind. He asked a group of 10 students in a room to put their date of birth in an envelope and then number the envelope then put them all in one big envelope, he would then write a 2 page document of the type of person they were based on their date of birth ie starsign. He did this same trick to groups of 10 people in the UK, Spain & USA. He came back with their horoscopes in envelopes and asked them to pick out their numbered envelope, read their personalised horoscope and report back. All said it was nearly 100% accurate and thought it was amazing how he could know all about them.

Then he asked them to swap their personalised horoscope with someone else in their group...they found out he had written one horoscope and given them the same one to everyone in the groups and to all 3 groups! Amazing! Because your mind wants to believe in it and is open to persuasion you do.

Most horoscopes are general comments that suggest ways you might be able to improve your life.

Everyone has something they could improve upon so if you belive there is room for improvement in your life you can allow yourself to belive in your horoscope.

There does seem to be a chord of truth SOMETIMES in what is said .... but have to be wary of not translating too loosely and seeing everything as true when adapted ... Almost anything can be 'adapted' to our personal situations if we want to believe ...

But how does it work ???

It can't be the stars ... §;^)

Absolutely not! We do not believe what someone we do not even know telling us what weare and what will happen. We make our own destiny with God's help.
