I have been living in the Boston metro area for most of my life and I am 24. I just wanted to hear from other people if they think Boston has one of the best nightlife scenes an which places are the best to go to!

Yeah, there's always something going on... the bummer is T service stops at midnight, and the clubs close at 2 am!

Yeah. Maybe not as big as NY but it does esp on Lansdown Street. I think you can only enjoy in the Nightlife in Boston if you are a student esp if you go to BU cause that's a college in which students nighlife revolves around clubbing.
BC is more about private parties.
All you people that say you hate it cause the bars close at 2 am. I'm sorry, how long do you want to be out for? Opening social gathering events way into the wee hours in the morning is what increases crime in major cities. I mean, if you guys are not drunk enough by 2 am, then you might as well stuck up your fridge and continue the party at your apartment!

I don't think Boston has a BIG night life. Lanesdown street is pretty popular though, I have lived in Boston for 23 of my 25 yrs of being alive and I hardly went to Lanesdown. Mainly because you are right..the T stops at 12 and the clubs close at 2...I wasn't too fond of my friends driving home drunk. So I mainly stayed home and drank with the other friends that didn't want to drive drunk! Ha!!

I hate the night life in Boston/Cambridge everything closes too early I wish one of these two cities woulkd stay awake longer it would bring in some many tourist and visitors and boost the economy. You might not remember Kenmore square before they gentrified the area it was a great place to hang out, The tiki bar on Lansdowne is a nice spot haven't been there in a while, I hope its still there.

well there are red sox games at fenway.....lol. i don't think the clubs are that good. i like the cheesecake factory in Cambridge! but the one thing i hate the most is trying to get into a restaurant like "Match". You have to stand out there for hours just to get in.
