ESL stands for English as a Second Language. A regular English class will probably be more high level. If you have a basic fluency with English, you're probably better off going to a normal class. Faster paced teaching and more able peers will propel you to learn more swiftly.

ESL is English as a Second Language. It is used to teach people that don't speak English as their native language and in schools to help kids get to the same level as the rest of their class.

ESL stands for English as a Second Language and it is for new speakers of English. It might be a full-time class or it might be a part-time program.
I don't think you have a choice in this, although your parents might. If you are not a native speaker of English you will be tested as to your level of English fluency, and you will be assigned into ESL or not, depending on this. In our area, we test every year.

Well its not that I don't know the answer... But I am unsure of the question.... Many accronems (in your case ESL) are used more then once...So you would have to define how it is refered somewhere in the question... Good idea is to not use them because they can stand for so many things...

A good example is PDF... Its a file extention or "Photo Document File"
But it also stands for "probablity Desity Function" when dealing with Quality control.
