It is as safe as anything else really. Don't give out your personal information. Don't talk with people you don't know. Be careful. My myspace info is on my 360 page.

I don't think so at all. I'm 19 now, but it helps me keep track of everyone from high school. Without it, I wouldn't keep in contact with a lot of people. As far as those people saying it's super bad because of predators or whatever, I think it's just as bad as chat rooms and messengers, why attack Myspace? Anyway, my space is http://www.myspace.com/goshimwaycool

Not neccessarily. MySpace can be a way for teens to get their homework assignments for teens, and meet new and interesting people. Not EVERYONE on MySpace is bad, or are they???

i am a teen and dont have a myspace, but honestly, i wouldnt really want one. i mean, it might be cool to 'meet new people' or 'find old friends', but why talk to people you dont even know or look at stranger's pictures? id rather talk to the people i do know or meet new people face to face. but thats beyond the point, anyway, i think it can be bad from all the stories i hear on the news about people getting raped, or running away from home to meet some 45 year old guy, but i think it could be okay if you use it safely and dont obsses over it and let it rot your brain. dont mean to spoil all your fun now.....................lol

No. Only the stupid ones and ones who are pressured easily. You can very easily switch your profile to private.
Not to be mean but the kids who get kidnapped by way of Myspace are idiots and it's their own fault that they got hurt. They shouldn't have gone with some strange guy who is 20 years older thatn them. I use mine to talk to my friends and listen to music. I think it's a good way of keeping in touch.

Regarless of what everyone is saying, I don't think Myspace is bad as long as you know who you're talking to, etc. 99% of the time I don't accept any friend requests form people I don't know. You can also set your profile to where only your friends can see it and/or only people who actually know you (by your last name or email address) can send friend requests.

really it depends on the teenager. for the most part, no it isn't. so long as they don't just add complete strangers to their friends list in the hope of seeming more popular. to make a long story short, myspace isn't any more dangerous than the internet as a whole
