Cause it has better games and it's cheaper. When I buy a gaming system I want a gaming system, not a multimedia player. When it gets like that, I think the development loses focus.

It's like this - Right now you buy a blender, a toaster, an oven, a microwave, a refridgerator and freezer, and counters all seperately. If they were to make it all together, the freezer would probably not be cold and the toaster would most likely burn toast. It's because they woulda spent too much time figuring out how to put them all together and not enough time getting everything to work good.

So the PSP is a Blender/Toaster/Fridge/Freezer/Machinegun all in one while the DS is just a really, really good toaster.

Mainly because the DS is cheaper. The types of games featured on the DS are more suited to hand held gaming. And most people want to wait for the PS3 to be released than spend £200+ on a PSP

Because the DS is more Affordable, It has the touch screen, It has more games. The only good thing on PsP is UMD. The games stink. And more people haved owned a gameboy than other portables, and it is a safer better the next game boy system will be better.

Sony's PSP has several flaws in it compared with the Nintendo. Sony did not prepare a longer lasting battery. The movie feature, although reviewed by test groups did not take into consideration that people would rather spend money on regular DVDs they could play in their portable dvd player, laptops or at home. I bought a PSP and after one week it sits in a drawer because was just not what I expected.

The PSP is too fragile. The DS is also still playing old style games which the PSP does not.

I prefer the PSP cause I like that I can play games, watch movies and put videos on it. But there's not many good games for PSP.

The Psp is purely 40 money extra and it has 10000000000000 cases extra useful pictures and gameplay and it performs video clips, music, video games, internet, and footage devoid of buying for an adapter.

its way more affordable, and is widly recongnized brand.
sony is trying to start a revolution with its new PSP, of
course it may look more "revolutionary" it definately is not
going to break the many thousands of player loyalty to nintendos
quality, affordable, and screaming fun line of portable players.
sony will have to think deeper to get around the gamer giant.
