Again not only my sister has drug problems but her boyfriend beats her too. I totally feel for you for, because I have seen everything you have but it was my sister and not my parent. I tried to help her all I could to leave him but the only person that can actually help her is herself! So just let your mom know you care and you are there for her but that is about all you can do unfortunately!! If she is the parent doing drugs too like you said then she probably gets the drugs from him and that is why she keeps going back to him. At least that is a big part of why my sister hasn't left this guy. It is so sad because my nieces are 11, 9, & 7 and they haven't seen their mom in 3 years because they were taken away from her by her ex husband because of her drug problem. But like I said it would be very helpful if you talked to a professional about alll this because it is obviously bothering you a lot and my email is jreneeh251981@yahoo.com if I can help. I hope your mother gets the help she needs soon. God bless you!

That's terrible about your mother. I would contact the police if I was you because women beaters don't need to be on the streets or even alive really for that matter.
I have been in a situation very similar to that. I have been beat in multiple relationships and I would try to leave but couldn't...tell he that it is hard but it is something she really needs to do. Since I got out of my relationships like that....I have found a guy I truly love and would kill anyone who did that.
She needs to call the cops and just leave.

Let your mom know how this upsets you to see this bum beat on her and that the next time it happens you will call the police. Talk to your grandparents or your father. Take pictures of your mom after one of these beatings and take them to the police, Grand parents, Priest, Family. Do it before he kills her. You may save her life. Where can I find the B**tard?

Call the police. If your mother isn't capable of acting like an adult you will have to take over. Call the cops every time even if you call 5 times a day.

Ask her if she loves herself? Plus not to be mean or anything ask her if she has life insurance and who her beneficiary is? That might wake her up. By the way my moms dead because she let her self go over a man I was only 22 years of age and in college.

there isn't much that you can do, you should surround her with people who think she is great and who will help to build her self esteem. i was once in a relationship like that and they destroy every part of you. make sure she realizes if he hits her then he doesn't love or respect her. in time hopefully she realizes that. good luck i wish you the best.

i'd call the police and convince my mom that if you didn't then she could end up dead and hurt everyone she loves because she stayed with a moron.
