just wondering what to expect...

never went into labor or really had contractions with first son...he was born my c-section

They move. Some slow down before birth to save energy for the big reveal, some get more active. Some move because they are being squeezed. It all depends on the baby. Don't worry, you won't notice it when those contractions are coming hard and heavy.

Your muscles clamp down so tightly during labor that the baby doesn't have much room to manuver. Also, because the muscles are so tight, the last thing you'll feel is the baby trying to move. This is a non-issue, believe me.

Labor is sort of like if you are wearing a pair of pants that have a waistband that's too tight. As labor progresses, the "waistband" extends further up and down your trunk.

You'll be in such pain and so excited that you won't notice unless it's really a lot of movement. When my water broke, I could feel my baby just wiggle her way down the birth canal and 2 minutes later, she was born.

ya, they mostly move in a squirmy way to try to wriggle out, they'll be working with you, though you probably won't notice.
