First, I'd get a good money manager, then pay off my bills, then I'd give my sons each some, and finally, I would invest the rest and and live off the interest. I'd probably still work, at least part time.

In the spirit of philanthropy which the question arises
like the phoenix from the ashes from,
it would be sent unto the prison system and it would
not be used to give the prison new jump suits,
nor improved food, nor would it be for improving
the interior architectures. It would be used like a
golden key to liberate all those people. There is
more people in prison and jail in the U.S.A. than
all the jails and prisons of the globes
countries in the statistics combined combined.
Crime has only two causes, NEED,or DISEASE.
If that money were used to fulfill human need there
would be no need for the "BIG BUSINESS" prison
system, and millions of families would be reunited!

I have Lupus and although it is at present under control, if it attacks vital organs you don't often live past 5 years. That made me re evaluate my life. I would want to set up trust funds for my kids so in the event of anything happening my family would have the money to raise and educate them properly how I would have liked. I'd also do things with the family and friends I loved so that memories are built that are positive. Whatever was left would go to the Children's Cancer Research Centre here in Sydney Australia. That may sound selfish but my kids ( all five of them)are my major priority, especially now.

Buy necessities, like a home, major appliances, dependable transportation. Invest in myself in the form of training or trademark, copywrite something I believe to be original and useful. If there is anything left entertain my friends.

I'd spend it all on myself because if it was given to me as a gift it belongs to me and therefore I should enjoy it!

'Giving it to charity!' roughly translates as 'Is this what you wanted to hear... I'm caring so pick me as best answer so I can have 10 points!'
