I lost sound, I need an audio controller?

I LOST SOUND ON MY PAVILION 544N, I NEED TO GET AN AUDIO CONTROLLER BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW OR WHAT TO DO, I WENT TO HP, TO GET THE DRIVER BUT THEY DON'T LET YOU DOWNLOAD ONE, I'VE GONE ONLINE TO GET IT, WELL NO LUCK, WILL SOMEONE HELP ME. THANKS

go to belkin.com and get their advisor or to crucial.com and run theirs. It will tell you what sound system you have then just google it (or go to downloads.com) and download it
