You can download an excel Viewer program from microsoft that allows you only to view excel files (not edit them)

But I have something better for you: download openoffice2 at www.openoffice.org
It is not MS Office, but a different Office suite that is freely available for download. I work with it now for a couple of years and find it even better than MS Office (for which you pay anywhere between $400 to $800).

I dont know of anyplace that you can download Excel, but you can purchase the Microsoft Office applications online or at Best Buy, and this includes Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Front Page and sometimes Publisher.
