Sorry I didn't know him, and I think it is the hardest thing in the world to loose a child or young person. Demarco was on this earth and your friend for a reason. Sometimes they are here to teach us. I know you are missing your friend, but try to honor his memory and think of all the good times and good things he did. Only time will lessen the sadness, but you will never forget him. I cry with you and pray for your friend and his family.

Yes, I heard of it.
Apparently there were 3 life guards AND parent chaperons and it was another CHILD who saw him at the bottom of the pool.
Those people should be sued!!! I, also have an 11 year old child, and this would be unimaginable to face!!

I'm so sorry for you. I'm crying with you. Water scares the hell outa me. I'm 41 and remember almost drowning when I was 10. I freak out when kids go swimming and no ones really paying attention to them. Take care girlfriend.
