It's not really a matter of it moving on it's own--rather it is being guided by "hands" that are not visible to unseeing eyes. Sometimes those hands are those of evil beings with harmful or deceitful intent, and sometimes they are of beings much more wonderful.
Sometimes, it is being used by people with no knowledge or seriousness about what they hold. Then, no--it is not likely to move on it's own.
Either way, a Ouija is nothing to be played with--or taken lightly. It is a portal that once opened, may never be possible to fully close again. GL

Don't get it twisted! Just because you don't believe in something doesn't erase its exsistence. It's not always about what you can see. The planchette operates on a diffrent realm and yes it can move on its own. All these type things dealing with spirits is stated in the Bible. This is really nothing new. It's not what you see you need to worry about but what you don,t see.........

Yes, well without a human hand moving it. An Ouija board is supposed to be a way of contacting spirits, someone trying to send you a message it is being moved by non-visable hands so to speak.

Happens in my house regularly. IN fact, when it moves the whole house starts shaking. And I'm not kidding. I live in Southern California. I tried getting rid of the thing, but there were times when the house shook anyway, so I brought it back.

I don't think so. Someone has to do it. But then again, I don't believe in the Ouija.

If you mean without a visible, corporeal human touching it, the answer is yes. You have contacted an entity. Be careful.

My mom told me that she did it with some of her friends when she was in college and the pencil was moving by itself, supposidly my dead grand father was answering some questions in writing. But it could be demons as well, who knows.

I have seen it move by itself many times. If it happens when you are using one put it away.
