I bought a maternity swimsuit and the top fits but the bottoms don't, this suit covers my belly my question is...Do you think it's tacky to wear a regular bikini ( not a string bikini) when you are pregnant? Usually i buy suits that you can mix and match the tops and bottoms because my top is usually a larger size than my bottom but it seems that they don't offer this in maternity suits.
Help Me
What should i wear to the pool. I am hot!

I am six months now and I am wearing the same bikini I had before. It is a skirt bottom that sits pretty low on my hips and the top (amazingly) still fits fine. Your baby belly is a beautiful thing and there is no sense in hiding it. The way I see it ; Get yourself something that makes you comfortable and if other people don't like it than they don't have to look!!!

I've always had to wear a big white shirt over my swimsuits anyway to keep from burning because I'm really fair skinned, something like that over the top might be better since I think covering your belly IS a really good idea since that skin's sensitive now anyway

Boy short bottoms or a little skirt bikini bottom would give you some more coverage if you're worried about the back of your legs or whatever, but the belly will show no matter what. Hey, if Princess Di could do it, so can you, go for it.

I wish I could get in the pool right now, my OB/GYN won't let me. :)

Well, I know that motherhood maternity sells suits, but I don't know if they sell seperates or not. You could just buy a tankini that is long enough to cover most of your belly for the summer. If you are going to be too big by the end of summer to have it stretch over your belly, then bear it!! There is nothing wrong with showing a pregnant belly!! Just don't forget the sunscreen!
