Paintball is one of the safest sports out there. It's a lot of fun and it can be painfull. If you get shot up close then it's gonna sting and leave a welt. so you need to make sure that the field enforces the 20 feet rule. most fields that i've been in also offers a chest/back protector for the ladies and kids. also make sure that you have your mask on in the staging and playing areas. the ref will tell you when and where it's safe to take them off. I hope you and your girls have fun.

honestly it is both. however since your two girls will be playing for the first time, they will be scared. it feels just like a bee sting. then after they get hit for the first time then they will have so much fun the will forget about the pain and they might even be brave anough to advance on the opponents

I would reccomend that you try it. With your adrenaline going, you can barely feel a hit. If you are scared that it will hurt, wear a sweatshirt or a chest protector. Paintball is a great activity to do with your family!

I'm a petite gal and I just wore a couple sweatshirts and it was not painful at all. It was quite the rush but I had fun!

It's very fun, but hurts really bad, unless your padded well. And wearing head gear you shouldn't have a problem. Have fun!8)>

Its both it hurts and its fun but ur aderaline is pumping up and u dont fell the panitball until later

I play.... it kinda hurts and it depends on the personality of the girls If they are tom boyish they will like it,

Its painful and messy. Try laser tag instead. My boys went with their class and can't wait to go back.
