Im writing to a soldier in iraq (penpal) and i want to add a short joke to make him laugh but it cant be offensive in anyway ....can anyone help me out?

A couple was driving down a country road after a quarrel. They passed a farm with donkeys and pigs.
"Relatives of yours?" The wife snorted.
"Yep", replied the husband as his hands tightened on the steering wheel. "Inlaws."
I dont know if that is offensive to you or not, but I tried. I dont know a lot of clean ones. Lol, Sorry
