not too long ago i saw on tv that deep in a central american jungle they found a pyramid completely covered in "jungle" it would be bigger than the egyptian pyramids..... but i never heard more about it.
once traveling in a vietnamese jungle i came across i guy cutting up wood chips used to make cola soda.... the jungle has everything, rivers streams waterfalls, all kinds of plants and animals. some are used to make medicine other cause disease.
i once met a young man that lived alone deep inside the jungle. i asked if he was afraid. he said, "no, why should i be?, there's no one else here!"
that same young man guiding me back down a narrow path shot a poisonus shake that was hanging in our way.. i never even saw the snake... he shot it right through the neck with a dart gun....... there are lots of things in the jungle you dont even see.
another time in a deep woods i found hundreds of empty bullet cartriges and some mortar and grenade frags... then i found a bunker and helocopter landing pad.... i found out latter i was hiking on west point miltary school property.

,the biggest treasures that are still to be discovered in the jungles are medicinal plants .
and evidences of ancient civilizations.
in the Amazon basin are discoveries of a huge Agricultural society that revitalized the very poor yellow jungle soil with carbon (Terra Grata)
And the people cooked in clay pots well over 2 meters in diameter, many hundreds of them ,suggesting that we are talking about many thousand's of people.
this black ,man made soil dates back over 100.000 years ago and is found all over the amazon basin on the Bolivian side.
apart from that there are the many millions of species of exotic flora and fauna
and much of the flora which is food and medicinal ,are left overs of ancient civilizations and some could even have been originally imported from other planets.if we are to believe that Earth has been colonized by foreign races in the past
often when we talk about ancient civilisations .gold is a factor, and gold mining appears to have been one of the oldest reasons for their existence.
but it is doubt full that it is still there ,
it is already a mystery where all the gold that was mined on this planet ,for hundreds of thousands of years ,by countless civilisatios ,is today .
what is in fort knox ,the bank of England ,and in various vaults around the world is only a fraction of what has been mined all together.
so you wil not find much treasure anymore apart from the biological stuff ,

Treasure. Gold, silver, gems, weapons, etc.
Right before he died, Grandpappy Bunstihlini left me a treasure map showing the location of the treaures of the Amazon queen. Because I am a ghetto-poor teacher, I have not yet begun my quest for treasure. Want to go with me? We can split the treasure fifty-fifty.
