1974 Honda Cb450

The real question is, how much money is worth pouring into a 1974 Honda CB450?

A Honda 1974 CB540 is a classic 30yr old motorcycle. Pretty soon it'll be an antique. That's why he wants to put money into it. Why do you think people spend $100,000 restoring Indians.
Here are a couple of places I've had luck finding old parts.

Try BikeBandit.com. You can enter the year, make and model. This will bring up the bike sections and you can search by using the exploded diagrams. If not there, try searching google for used motorcycle parts. I like www.motorcycleparts4U.com. Another option is to search ebay for a used, complete or near complete bike same make/model and year. Then you have 2 bikes to part into one!

Ok...i recommend http://craigslist.com as they are regional and have a myriad of subjects in which to choose from. eBay is good, though it might take more time that way....it's just a hunch...but it just might be what you need, no harm in trying out the site. It has worked for over 15 people that I know, from selling to buying a variety of things. Also check Cycle Rider Mag and as well you can talk to Cycle shop managers. One more email Addy is this: mediakiller3@yahoo.com, a motorcycle aficionado who will respond within a week. You might be able to get 3 bikes, cannibalize them and have EXACTLY what you want with less money to spend doing it. Thanks. Hope that this helps.

You can go on ebay and put your information in search and everything that ebay has for sale on that item will pop up. My dad buys car parts on ebay all the time and he has a 1972 Chevelle.
