ok all I asked for was a simple answer, you idiots who make your kiddish comments need to GROW UP!! as far as hurting himself I meant crawling on carpet and his knees getting hurt. As a monther your first priority is the safty of your child, and yes its part of life but if you can protect him WHY NOT DO IT???
By the way thank you to those who actually tried to help :)

THINK HARD ON THIS ONE
your son will craw sure his knees will hurt
he will get tired of that an stand up then walk, then run then leave home then marry the red head down the street an have crawling kids of his own.

What is he crawling on? Unless it's bare concrete he shouldn't be hurting himself that bad. Bumps, bruises, cuts, and scrapes are just a part of being a kid. Let him be and soon he'll be walking.

Try Babies R Us or ebay. BTW, what type of floor do you have that would hurt a baby's knees---my kids never hurt their knees by crawling.

i had this problem and by then (20 years back) we didn't have those knee pads in here and my knees were in a very bad condition so my mom used to wrap them up in bandages for me.

If you buy that boy knee pads, I can guarantee that one day he'll wear them for much different reasons.
