I've been a US News & World Report subscriber for 18 years. Used to be better than Time and Newsweek. But in the past year or two, they've gotten so one-sided... a lot of their news stories have turned into editorial rants with virtually NO news at all. Even historical accounts are chock full of left leaning jabs.

I'm cancelling. Why can't journalists just report the fricken story?

Generally the have the same headlines and stories. Time sells more a lot more, I'm a magazine expert at a bookstore, we can barely keep time in the store where as we have plenty of newsweek left over everyweek.

Time leans to the right, and is really a fairly Republican magazine. Newsweek offers more balanced stories (slightly left-leaning). Both are reputable magazines worth your time.

Both Newsweek and Time Magazines are definitely full of intense, very digestible material. They offer much direct to-the-point information that is always up to date. It is according to one's own preferences which one is desired over another. I find something of value in both and use them interchangeably. I simply can't afford to always buy them. Most of the time, I go to the Harold Washington Library in Chicago, Illinois. It is so definitely full of information that anyone would need to complete their studies and more. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31 Peace and God Bless.
