A laser beam is coherent light, meaning the light waves vibrate at the same speed and reach crests and troughs at the same time, which makes the beam a strong radiation, since radiation is just very energetic waves. I guess it is pure light energy just in a modified form

Do you mean is it possible for a laser to operate at room temperature? Sure. Think about CD players or supermarket scanners. What you need to get lasing is a mechanism to achieve "population inversion", which means getting the majority of your electrons into an excited state. This can be done in a variety of ways. It doesn't require high temperature.
