What's with all these people on about diseases and stuff? You're just as likely to catch something from someone you meet locally as on the net. Yes I have. I was in a relationship with him for a while. It didn't last but we are still friends. I have met a few people on the net(not had sex with any others though!) and they have always been really nice. It is sad when people have a bad experience but I don't know why people think it is stupid because I met my ex and got to know him first. Do people think you just go and sleep with them and that's it?

lol I'm with Happycheeks on this - met the woman who is now my wife on the net, we got married on September 29th 2004, so a little good omenage there for ya.

Yes, the one and only man I ever talked to on the web. We met in a chat room and talked in there for 9 mo. before we met in person. He lived at one end of the country and I at the other. I went to his state to see him 2 times and he came to mine 2 times. We have now been married for 6yrs. I love him to death!!
BUT, I'm no kid and I was very very careful. I didn't jump into meeting him. He was willing to wait until I was ready to meet him.

Yes actually. But always protected. Now i'm in love with this guy. But he's not into me as much. So it sucks. Some people are lucky and they find their soulmates. So there isn't anything wrong, as long as it is for good intentions.
