I believe you have a good point. I've been cruising the questions and there does seem to be a lot smart-alecs out there. I have come to the conclusion it's just a cover for their lack of a good answer and they just want the points. I checked out some of your other questions and I think they are decent good questions.
So, just ignore the riff-raff. It's hard, cuz it looks like there are so many. It's the Computer Age. They are anonymous. Leave it at that. Good Luck with your other questions.

many people feel they have an ax to grind for one reason or another, and most people only look at things from their own perspective, without considering any other. i don't believe my point of view is the only correct one, and sometimes there are worthwhile things in many people's answers that i never considered or thought of, even if i don't agree with them. however, some people could come across with their opinions a little differently, i think.

yes, some people don't know what they're talking about because some questions are for a person, or for a situation, or there are other motives behind it, other than getting the book definition. so, it is very hard to understand what people are talking about
