OMG the jealousy in here is just overwealming.
We won, 3 points, top of the group we are proud and singing is justified.
We are not over hyped we have faith and belive we can do it. What is so wrong with that.
As i have said before would you send your 9 year old boy out to play football and say never mind son your gonna lose anyway.
I for one will be shouting a screaming beliveing the boys can do it. We may not get passed the group stage. But then again we may!
At least we are there.

Well if all the teams that play against them score own goals then England are going to win the world cup. And they had the cheek to say Beckham score the goal. Could well be if Victoria Beckham was one of the goal posts. as for singing in the streets i suppose they needed all the dutch courage they can get.

Hell no! It's on shaky grounds now and I have my doubts. With it's performance today they might as well start packing up to go back home. They actually blamed the afternoon heat for lack of good performance!!! C'mon england. They had better do a whole lot better in the next matches.

It does at the moment as it has given the country hope by getting the three points awarded. Admitted they could have played better but the heat etc and getting into the swing of things. The country is happy for a change and while there is a possibility they could win the world cup they will remain happy. Lets think positive!

I think England played well, but it is a little disheartening to see that they only beat Paraguay by a lone goal, scored by the other team. I wonder if the ball would have gone in if the fullback hadn't nodded it into his own net. England will do better against Sweden, hopefully.

Let's just say that if they continue playing like they did today, they will be out of the final soon enough!
Having said that, they got lucky and people celebrate all the time when they get lucky and win something without working hard at it, so as long as the hooligans stay home - party on!

Wow, can't you just see the anti English in here.
Yes we should be singing, we won, Top of the group and we need to keep supporting the lads out there because the press wont.
It does not matter how goals are scored its the result that counts.
COME ON ENGLAND

no it should make the media a bit more cautious over they're " England have already won the cup " attitude plus the fa already booking the bus for england winning is dissrespectfull to the teams in the competition espescially the ones who have better quality than england who instead conduct themselves professionally

Not at all, if it wasn't for an own own goal we wouldn't have scored at all. But then again 3 point is 3 points. We're going to be knackered if it comes down to goal difference.
