well that depends on the age you are and the age he is. Of course he likes you back. young men are notorious for chasing younger girls. They know young girls are at a vulnerable age and they will give you attention you have never had. Teenage girls relish in this attention and feel they have found love. I know this is not what you want to hear, thus is it pointless for me to say but I will say it anyway, dump him and find someone closer in age. keep your teen years "dating" activities. Date lots of boys, don't settle down with one, you're in high school, live it, love it, enjoy it. Young men over 18 are not interested normally in "dating" they are interested in sex, and sex with someone who can't judge them, because they themselves are inexperienced, it is a bonus for them to date someone with even less experience. You think he is the best thing in the world, because you haven't seen anything else. Is he better then all the pimple faced immature boys that are your age? Yes, because he is older, had more life experiences, knows what to say, how to say it, and lets face it, is attractive to date an "older" boy because you come off as a more advanced, more mature, girl yourself. Well you can also come off as more of an easy prey, or just easy. I know he is far away right now, but he is priming you to be his girl, I recommend you proceed with caution, and highly recommend that you dump the older guy, and just try dating the clumsy teenage boys close in age to you until you at least get out of school. Then go find that college boy. After college if you are still looking, find that business man. I wish you luck and happiness.

If he really is a real sweet guy and you are not willing to see him get into trouble, then neither of you should persue this until you are 18. My husband is 6 1/2 years older than I am, however we are both over 25 and met 2 years ago. I don't think age is a factor unless you are under 18.

It's not wrong but just keep in mind that you two are still kinda young so don't do anything reckless or too hasty. If you think about it, 5 year difference isn't much when you guys get older.

I wouldn't bother. Your Immaturity will no doubt be the inevitable doom of that relationship.
