Hi! I am curious. Some friends say p2p is legal in canada. Some say it isnt. couls you tell me if it is legal in canada or not?

p2p is very difficult to control because the technology itself is not illegal - it's how you use it that may or may not be illegal. Of course, making copyrighted material available to download is a crime in Canada - as in all countries that recognise INTERPOL jurisdiction - but in all probability the record companies have clamped down less on it in Canada than in the USA as it's a much smaller market.
