Why do some people take one's spirit board to a cemetery?

Hello, people!
Isn't that like those who stand next to one another while on their cellphone to ... each other?

They use it to let the spirits talk to them through the board.

I guess they like the atmosphere--it feels more spooky. Frankly, you can call up a demon anywhere, it doesn't have to be in a cemetery. Ugh.
