I have a Maytag Neptune Gas Dryer and would like to conver it to electric. Is it possible

No. Different controls, would be a difficult and expensive thing to do. The 230/1/60 cable & plug is at least $100.

Cheaper and safer to buy a new electric dryer. You don't want the house to burn down, do you?

Sorry, that is not at all possible...Gas and Electric are totally different, in every way. Even if you tried to convert them, it would end up costing you way more than just buying a new one and the work would be alot. Just buy a electric one. Thats the best way to go.

No, your best bet is to sell you gas dryer and buy a new Electric dryer. Make sure you have the correct voltage for the new dryer, most are 220 volts.

Anything is possible. It will probably cost you four times more to convert gas to electric than it would to just buy a gas dryer though!!!

NO! You can convert a gas LP to NG or NG to LP but not gas to electric.

well I bet there is a way, but it would be vary hard and cost more then just getting an electric one
