What are some good ideas for things to put in a purse?

If your purse doesn't have lots of pockets, use small bags to keep things organized--makeup, pens, keys, etc.

In my purse, aside from all the junk that winds up in there, I always have a wallet, PDA, phone, lipstick, breath mints, small notebook, glasses/sunglasses, pen. Sometimes MP3 player.

Pens! Always have pens. For girls, those handy little items you need at "that" time of the month. Medications, identification, cell phone, insurance card, a couple candies, some gum, nail clippers, nail file. I currently have a Gameboy Advance in mine, but I have a 7 year old....

ummmm.......i practically keep my life in my purse.......keys, wallet, ID, photos of my kids, planner/calendar, my bible, portable CD player, some good CD's, pens, gum (i'm an ex-smoker), my cell phone and the charger, hair ties, perfume, and small bottle of hair spray, and anything I need for work. My purse is HUGE!

things i put in my purse-and note i am a tomboy-are makeup because that's what my friends carry in theirs. i also carry TONS of notes from my friend and boyfriend. i have to have a big purse for that.

Whatever cards you carry, checkbook and pen, tiny mirror, tweezers and clippers, threaded needle, credit card sized calculator, notepad, Carmex, Eclipse gum, one peppermint, shades, comb, and key chain with a train whistle attached to it. Sounds like a lot, but it's next to nothing.
