Have tried to wear nail polish because I like colors that are subtle but cannot stand the way it makes the nailbed feel.

Clear. They make them shiny and I don't have to put polish on that often. Color will chip and off it comes and on with another coat of something.

i use clear or a very light sheer pink/peach. i dont think it looks good when girls wear dark colors. it makes their fingers look fat. the french nails are somewhat cute, but they all come in different shapes and some girls get them short and it looks really bad, like they have fat fingers.
when girls wear colored nail polish and it chips it looks really bad and makes them look like they dont take care of their nails. but with clear polish your nails always look good.
