Well your vehicle is supposed to be 25 MPG freeway 19 city, or 21 Combined, for a total of 378 mi on a tank of gas. That means if you leave with a full tank of gas you should have to fill up twice more on the road, but the 2nd fillup should be over half leftover when you arrive at your destination.

Dodge Caravan fuel numbers=20/26 with 20gal. fuel tank(cars.com sw model)

400/520

you will be traveling mostly highway miles so figure 500.
this means u will need at least 1.75 fills one way so 3.5 fills round trip.

NY east coast gas=around 3.00,20 gal. *3.00=60.00 for total fill.3.5 fills times 60.00=210.00

This is so you don't get stuck 100 miles from home with the kids yelling in the back wanted to know when there getting there and the tow man being rude and obnoxious the whole time he's "helping you".

Fuel tank is 20 gallon capacity. Average MPG is 18.5.
(875 miles/18.5 miles per gallon)= 47.297 gallons you'd need. Divide 47.297/ 20 and it comes out to 2.364 tank fulls. In case you're interested, if you wanted to figure out the cost of gas, use the national average of 2.90 a gallon for regular, times 47.297. This would be $137.16. Buffer in a few dollars for price changes between now and when you go. have a nice trip!

About two times based on a 20 gallon tank with 23 mpg as your average.

Depends on how many miles per gallon your Dodge Caravan gets

You don't give a mpg for the car, or a fuel tank size, so I looked it up. (see below)

Your fuel tank is 20 gallons.
Your mileage is 26 mpg highway

875 miles / 26 miles/gallon = 33.6 gallon.

2 fill ups should be about right @ $3.00 per gallon will run you about $120.00 ($60 per fill (20 * $3)) THAT'S EACH WAY.

how many miles per gallon do you get? I'll estimate 25
how many gallon tank do you have? I'll estimate 16

now do the math

16 gallons X 25 miles = 400 miles

plan on stopping for gas 3 times.
once before you leave town and twice after that.

enjoy your trip!

I think that has a 16.5 gallon tank, and my '03 got about 25 mpg on hwy. Going with that you would need 35 gallons, so being conservative about 3 fills would do it.

Add detail to your question so I may answer you.
I need to know how many miles per gallon you get with your Caravan, the sticker is not always accurate and you must consider the driving conditions. (stop and go traffic, climbing steep inclines, your speed, ect)
