When you or your company order goods from abroad, you can use a freight forwarder to co-ordinate unloading / storage of your shipment, clear your goods through customs and have the goods shipped / couriered on to their final destination such as a warehouse.

Alot less paperwork and it saves you driving to the port and picking the goods up yourself!
