It is a fececious name. Really what it is is that it is a parody of all the thriller flicks that have come out in the previous year. They put in homosexuality, famous personalities, and spoofs to liven it up. Life 'Scary Movie 4' was a parody of 'Fish', 'Saw 2', 'The Grudge', 'The Skeleton Key', and 'War of the Worlds', and 'The Village' and 'Brokeback Mountain.' They added all these elements to make it sort of a weird-scary comedy but I wouldn't reccomend this film to people under 10 and over 35.

It's called Scary Movie, but it is not scary at all! It is very funny, I was cracking up.

Its call scary because it meant to make fun of scary movies, and how stupid they can be sometimes
