They say you know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows someone who knows (famous person). Do you know someone famous? Are you related to someone famous? Honestly!!! I know there will be some people who will think its cool to say "oh, yeah, my cousin is Britney Spears". but don't be stupid!!!
I'm related to Louisa May Alcott, who wrote "Little Women", (i've never read that, though), and one of my friends is related to Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens was his real name).
So I really want to know who you know! =)

Most times it takes more than six degrees of separation but if you do enough digging into the family tree and you work collateral (cousin) lines you can usually come up with a few famous people. Famous people in my tree who I am related to very distantly on cousin lines are Laura Ingalls Wilder, Lucille Ball, Ulysses S. Grant, Millard Filmore and the Baldwin Brothers (Alec & Co.). I am a direct descendant of Giles Corey who was the only person crushed to death under the accusation of witchcraft in Salem, MA in 1692.

I am not related to anyone famous nor do I know anyone who is famous. I don't even have a friend of a friend whose neighbor is famous.
