The outer diameter of the tire on your vehicle is what is directly related to the height at which your vehicle sits, not the rim size.
If you are able to obtain 17" or 18" rims that fit the bolt pattern on your vehicle, it is possible to then put tires on those rims which would raise your car since there are 17" and 18" tires built which are larger in diameter than the stock 14" which you have.
Before purchasing any replacement set of wheels and tires , ensure they will fit under the wheel well (clear of the body panels) and clear of the brake calipers.
Larger tire diameters can affect, your overall steering performance, can cause rubbing on front end parts when cornering sharply, and will cause your speedometer to read incorrectly.
Tread slowly when modifying. Get it right.

not unless you get some bigger tires to match those rims, or else they are not going to fit. 17 inch rims will not fit 14 inch tires, you may need to get a 2 inch lift on the car in order to accommodate the tires,

If you get bigger rims, bigger tires are going to be need to be bought as well. That however doesn't change anything because your cars exterior is 2" outside the wall of your tires and there isn't anything in the way until about 20".Go get em and enjoy the new look.

depends on your tire size. a typical tire size is 205/50/17...the first number is your tire width the bigger= wider the tire...the second is the tire heighth from the rim to the top of the tire the smaller the number the less tire you have. and the third is the rim size. hope this helps

it particularly is a stupid question, sorry. Why might you decide on the biggest rim you will get? purely on account which you are able to would not recommend you're able to. basically circulate 2 sizes greater, get a lighter wheel ($$$), or those 18 rims of your objectives are going to kill means and gas financial device, cut back your braking means, and make your tiny brakes look stupid. yet once you're ghetto, you will no longer care, so get your heavy 19's with a important sort of chrome. LOL.

most people are trying to lower that particular car not raise it...you usually have to modify the suspension to change the height of the car...
