Gay people don't talk funny more than anyone else. I am assuming you are talking about the stereotypical gay guy with a lisp, I have spent lots of time volunteering and hanging out in the gay community and only met a few people that talk with a lisp.

1) Why do all girls have to get up and go to the bathroom together and wear pink and talk on their cell phones like airheads and say things like "Do you think these jeans make my butt look too big" or "Oh, my god, look at what she is wearing; she is like so unpretty and stuff" or "Oopsy, I just chipped a nail," and why do girls all want to look and "act" like the Barbie dolls they played with as a child?
2) Why do all black people eat watermelon and fried chicken and go around raping and killing people?
3) Why do all Hispanic people--oops, I mean Mexicans--sneak into our country as illegal immigrants and snort cocaine and carry around guns and drive pimped-up cars and motorcycles and sit around being lazy?
4) Why do all Asian people--oops, I mean Chinese--talk all funny and look all the same so that you can't tell one from the other and why are they all so good at math and science and computers and eat noodles and rice?
5) Why are all heterosexual guys into football and soccer and baseball and working on their car and have smelly, nasty feet, and why do they sit around looking at porn and chasing girls and then when they have a girlfriend, they go behind her back and cheat on her?
6) Why do all Jews have big noses and care only about money?
7) Why do all Muslim men have scraggly beards and want to kill people with bombs and by flying planes into skyscrapers?
8) Why do all Christians act snooty and hate Jews and gays?
9) Why do all lesbians have big, meaty arms and mullets for hairdos and prefer to hang out in hardware stores rather than at Pier 1 or Bed Bath and Beyond?
10) Why are all scientists atheists and hate people who are religious?
11) Why do all people from the southern United States eat alligator and possum and make moonshine and have incest and hate black people?
12) Why are all New Yorkers rude and pushy and wanting to steal your purse or rape you in an alley?
Hello?????? These are all stereotypes, just like your question. I am gay and I do not talk "funny." I don't sleep around. I am a virgin. I don't go to gay bars. I don't do anything that is really considered gay. I am not into girly things. I watch ESPN a lot. In fact, I am watching the soccer/World Cup with my straight roommates right now.
Go rent Brokeback Mountain.

Your right why do they talk funny well I think the answers is because gay people happend to hang out with the opposite sex more often so they are around people who talk diffrent so thats why men talk like girls because they are always around girls I don't know how gay girls are.

Not all of them do, but yes others do have the gay voice... I think it's a preference, it makes them feel like it represents what they are better, feeling, personality, whatever, cause I know they don't have to talk like that, well I guess not all of them anyway...

Some are more flamboiant then others. Some dont 'talk funny'. But I hope this wasnt meant as discrimanatory. I really hate people who discriminate against people.

I think its because they wish to be something they are not so bad they will adapt thier voices to sound feminine ..its a personality displacement really

I presume you mean gay guys. The effeminate voice and mannerisms they affect are all part of pretending that they're girls.
