I did a scientific study on the tootsie pop question for a statistics class in college, and when I defined a lick to be placing the lollipop on your tongue and turning 360 degrees, and getting to the center as being more than 50% of the tootsie roll surface showing, it took between 1,000 and 1,250 licks to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop, regardless of age, sex, or race.
No, I don't know Mr. Spunkmeyer... but he does make lovely muffins and cookies, doesn't he?
I wouldn't know if you're a blond (though your avatar appears not to be), and anyway, what does it matter? You could be purple and polka-dotted for all I care, so long as you're a nice person. =)
