ok, tell me if this is completely corny. id love to have a helicopter ride all thru san diego, ca because thats where he and i are from and then (probably entirely impossible) id love to have a candle lit dinner on a baseball field, in my wildest dreams itd be the padres field cuz thats his team for like his whole life and its san diego, lol. but a baseball field in general, all romantic as possible. is this too corny or what?

That sounds like a fun anniversary. The helicopter part can be easily accomplished. There are two helicopter companies in the San Diego area that could help you with that. One is at Lindbergh field (downtown San Diego) called Corporate Helicopters.

The other is at Carlsbard-Palomar airport called Civic Helicopters.

Either of these two companies would be able to provide you with an unforgettable tour around San Diego, Mission Bay, Coronado or wherever else you'd like.

As far as the candlelit dinner on the field, I'm not sure how to swing that one. You could take in a Padres game at the new stadium.

Petco Park, the new stadium, is located in the gas lamp district and is truly a beautiful venue. The entire complex is built around a 100 year old building in left field whose corner serves as the left field foul pole. It was a brilliant way to incorporate the old and the new. There is a restaurant there, but I don't think it's anything too fancy, and it's only open during games.

There are several upscale hotels in the same block as Petco Park which have nice restaurants in them.

Or the incomparable Hotel Del Coronado just a short drive away:

If you were to stay at one of the finer hotels, such as the Del, and asked the concierge, perhaps they would have some connection to help you dine on the field.

Good luck with your anniversary, it's given me some ideas for mine.

Thanks
