See, me and my boyfriend have safe sex, but one night he thinks the condom broke but he's not quite sure...so just to be safe he told me to take a test. Problem is my period hasnt regulated yet. I can go like 3 months without a period. How long should I wait to take the test after intercourse then?

Take the test NOW! you coud be pregnant and just do it to be on the safe side. and if your period hasn't started to come on reguraly then you should wait until it does to start back having sex.

3 weeks. Usually you ovulate 2 weeks before or after your period. So 3 weeks after should be good.

fIRST LET ME SAY IF YOU ARE NOT HAVING A REGULATED PERIOD THAN YOU ARE NOT OVULATING. yOU CAN NOT BECOME PREGNANT UNLESS YOU OVULATE. tHE TIME YOU HAVE YOUR PERIOD MEANS YOU OVULATED THAT PAST MONTH. uSUALLY A PREGNANCY TEST CAN CONFIRM A POSITIVE PREGNANCY 4 WEEKS AFTER THE TIME YOU THINK YOU CONCEIVED. iF YOU ARE NOT HAVING REGULAR PERIODS i RECOMMEND SEEING YOUR OB/GYN FOR BIRRTH CONTROL AS THAT CAN HELP REGULATE YOU. iF YOU DO NOT TAKE CARE OF YOUR IRREGULAR PERIODS NOW IT MAY AFFECT YOU LATER ON IN LFE.

And for the record....I have irregular periods...missed a period and STILL got PREGNANT. So yes you can get pregnant with irregular periods bc you DO OVULATE!

You shouldn't wait at all, you should take one as soon as you have doubts.
