Although the idea has been discussed on and off for over 15 years, FIFA have not yet ratified the use of video replays for disputed decisions.There have been two main reasons quoted for this, firstly, that such replays will hold up the game, and secondly, because FIFA believe that football at all levels should be able to enjoy the same standards... in other words, semi-pro and amateur players do not have access to video replays, so nor should pros/internationals. I believe that this is a flawed argument, but hey, I'm not Sepp Blatter!
