God and his word

2006-06-10 09:01:49 · answer #1 · answered by 3's 2 · 0 1

There is no way for any individual to truly know god's word. Therefore your best bet is to study the world any way that you can. Going to a university is one of many ways, but not the only way. Ultimately true knowledge starts with neither god's word (because it is unknown) nor a professor, it starts with an individual's desire to learn and continues through life through personal experience.

I wouldn't take "true knowledge" from a professor from school, liberal or conservative. Whatever it is, probably from God, but I'd like to have an idea of what it is first.

A liberal professor is the next best thing to god. He knows what's best for you. Don't be so arrogant to assert you know better than he.

Why do you think government has to rule our lives? Because average people aren't smart enough to do what they should. So just turn off your brain, suspend your disbelief, and do what he says is best. You may not agree, but that's just because you're not as intelligent as your liberal professor.

So, since you are not competent to run your own life, please do your liberal professors the courtesy of just obeying them without all this undue fuss and fanfare.

Oh, and one last thing: believing in god is just another indication you are not too smart. A conservative would not be capable of explaining why, but your liberal professor sure can, if he feels you are astute enough to understand his answer.

But please, don't exasperate him with silly questions. Just obey him. He knows best. Honest.

Well, if you mean true human knowledge, then clearly we have no way of knowing what is really God's word. So, better start with school, and work up from there.

Between the 2 I would pick God, but if you want to get a decent grade in the class, let the professor think he's "god".

Is the book "sex in the city" better than the "bible"? Why? It all depends on your beliefs. Personally, my first liberal teacher in high school has been and will always be my greatest influence in my life. Finding different points of view is an awesome thing. Never stop learning, always try to find different ways of looking at situations!!!

Well seeming how science has proven time and time again that evolution is a real thing, I will stick with the professor on that one.
