in short....."check" the box the mail came from and spam it by choosing spam buttom above.....if the person is on your address book you have to delete them from your address book too...try looking at yahoo mail help also

Click the check box to the left of the message, then click the spam button near the delete button. This will automatically delete the message, send a report to Yahoo and block the address.

Go to the Mail options, then Block Addresses, then type in the email address that you want to block.

You can go to mail options & block the sender;then just delete the mail without opening it. You don't need to block before you delete unopened mail.

Just put check in the box next to the email and up above that you will see "move to"....click the arrow till you see "Junk mail" or "trash" and move it there.

highlight it and click block or report spam or whatever it is ontop by delete and the other tabs

block him/her from messenger..... and delete from address book...
