I had a really weird dream last night that has left me very confused. It started out I was in some unknown building with a bomb in it. I was there with a couple of friends. We knew the bomb was there, and there was nothing to do but hide. So I ran and hid in this storage room with stone walls. The bomb exploded, and I knew I was dieing. There was no pain, of course it's a dream, but I did feel very warm. It wasn't painful. Then everything went dark, and I started floating. For a while I was just floating around feeling somewhat excited but not at all in pain physically or emotionally. There were flowers and it was beautiful, but there wasn't much else. Then it started getting dark, and I was in this tunnel. It wasn't the normal tunnel people talk about with a light at the end, instead there was a metal hatch sort of door. I tried opening it, and I couldn't. Then I read the writing on the door...... I can't fit this on here, hold on..

The door said "To pass, state the name of someone you love." It had more writing but I didn't read it. I yelled "Jesus" and it opened. After that, I found myself meeting up with the friends who were killed in the bomb, too. They must have escaped the same way I did. I asked one of them what they said to the door and they told me they said Jesus, too. Is this just a dream or something more? I've always asked God to show me somehow through a dream or through life that he's real, even though I know I'm just supposed to believe he's there. Anyone have anything similar happen?

Well, it simply reflects your own beliefs. If you were a Muslim, for expample, you may have dreamt you blew yourself up and went to Heaven and had 77 virgins, or if a Jew that you met Moses. Who knows? The dreamer makes the dream. None of these examples prove that any particular point of view on religion is right.
The neat thing about dreams is that it is a state of consciousness that is totally different than waking.

YES! You are too religious, yet you find you constantly question all aspects of your religion and feel guilty about doing that, so it is all coming out in your dreams! Live your life at a slower pace, don't question everything, (you will never be satisfied with the answers), and let your heart lead you through life.

death in dreams doesn't always signify death. it usually means big change. this dream is different tho, it could just mean death. it may have been your subconcience trying to give you a sign that your faith is real, and that's what matters. I had a dream once that I was floating on a cloud, and it had a sign on it that said "cloud 9" then it stopped and there was God. I said what's going on, and he said we didn't have much time, but he wanted to answer some of my questions. it seemed like a therapy session. then he showed me this mirror that had the real me reflected inside of it. I looked ugly and fat, and he said it was because I was selfish and mean. then he said our time was up, and I had to go back. when I returned to earth, I was twenty years older, and my life was in shambles. I cried out to God and asked him to put me back where I was, I wanted the chance to live out my life, and then I woke up back in my bed. the thing was, I was in jail when I had the dream. I actually asked God to put me back in jail where he found me so that I could finish my sentence and return to my life and change.

if you have always asked God for a sign through a dream perhaps you just had your prayer answered! i don't know what your dream might mean but i do wish you all the best...and if you have been searching for the Lord in your life, i think maybe you just found him...my advice is don't ignore Him, but invite him into your concious, waking life... he says in scripture...knock and the door will be opened to you, search and you will find.
god bless you :)

Hi ..There is a belief that our dreams are an attempt by our unconscious mind.. to "make sense" of what ever troubled us during our waking hours..I believe that the content of the dream..
is not the important facet...but instead it is the emotions that you "feel" during the dream, and sometimes upon waking that are significant... So instead of focusing on the elephant in tights balanced on the antenna of your car that you see in your dream...look at what emotions you were feeling, it can give you lots of insight....
Kind regards!!:) ..

I've had dreams like that, not sure what it means but there are a few good answers that people have posted.
I've had them more since I've been a Christian.
It could be God trying to tell you something or helping you to reflect.
