Liberals provide some checks to the nazi like govenment that the repuglicans would like to have, it has reached a point to where a rubber stamp congress has allowed the president an almost dictatorship, it will be interesting to see if he tries to remain in power after his two terms are up. I don't think the American people would let him do that, even the repuglcans would not like that to happen. But I would not put it past him to try.
