Why does it tell me to change my proxies when I try to log onto yahoo messenger?

That happened to me one time and my internet company said not to let that happen. Go through your regular hook up, and your internet will tell you what to do. You might want to get hold of them, otherwise others have control over your computer, an alternate hook up has free access into your computer.

maybe ur set on the wrong proxy server
