You can go see the Bats fly out from under the Congress street bridge. You can go drinking on 6th St. Bars are open til 2 am. You like pizza? Of course you do! On 6th st and all over downtown, there is a pizza joint between every atm machine. it's a wild place. Other than that, that's about it.

If you look at a map, go SOUTH on I-35 until you reach New Braunfels, TX. It's only 38 miles south of Austin. Schlitterbahn Water Park is rated THE BEST WATERPARK in the world. I've been there. If you ride the Master Blaster, you will be propelled UPHILL by jets of water, not a chain, and most of the rides there are thousands of feet long. Tickets are kind of pricey, though, $80.00/person (adult). But for that price, you get to ride the rides all day long. It's not a Six Flags theme park, and IT'S ALL WATERSLIDES, so bring or wear a swimsuit. Go early and spend all day. They also have a great gift shop, and you can even buy a swimsuit there if you had to. One of their rides is called the Cliffhanger, and I highly recommend this one. IT"S A TWO MILE LONG WATERSLIDE!

No means will have to Austin have long gone. Its truthfully a whole funny story now; X Factor is not approximately skillability anymore - its virtually the judges getting one over on every different (ie, Louis vote casting out an act only due to the fact they're in Simon's class). I believe the major intent Rachel was once saved in was once due to the fact X Factor desired to provide the impact that they 'do not pass judgement on'. It is now normal capabilities that Rachel had slightly of a 'afflicted beyond' and so they desire individuals to peer that they aren't judging her... if that is sensible. I do not believe she will have to had been given a hazard - you understand she mugged the eldery - in BROAD DAYLIGHT? After that why will have to we desire to peer her, allow on my own pay attention her? Austin has a far larger voice, in my opinon I have by no means heard Rachel sing in music, she simply shrieks... Simon will signal Austin onto his label - he is a idiot if he does not.

You can go to 6th street, libraries, parks, and those great outdoor concerts at Zilker Park. Zilker Park is the best park and the best Texmex food is Taco Cabana. The best burger is at Dans. Take a walk at Zilker Park's trail. Across the street is the Botanical Gardens, but if you go online to www.austintexas.org you will be able to access information and request an Austin Official Visitors Guide. I been here for 20yrs and I always request one in the mail. They have listings for hotels, restaurants and a ton of things to do. Guided tours of the Capital and everything. There is something for everyone. If you have a lot of money, little money, or no money there is always something for each category to do. Welcome to Austin!

Depends on what you want to do. The nightlife there revolves around 6th street. There are also lots of nice restaraunts such as Carrabbas (my favorite) and Texas Land & Cattle. I'm sure there are theatres too.
