I got pregnant with my son while on the pill! How? Who knows, but I am so glad God blessed me with him...he is now 7, the joy of my life and healthy as can be.
Your OB/GYN will run some ordinary, but extra, blood work to rule out any problems so TELL HIM/HER that you were on the pill when you conceived.
The dark line on you stomach is the result of hormones....it fades after you give birth and your OB/GYN will give you a cream to help with the fading afterwords. And to put a smile on your face....my husband called it my "happy trail" not matter how big I got!

All birth control still has some risk (there's been even a couple cases where sterilization didn't work) and the dark line is some weird affect affect of hormones. Aside from abstinence and sterilization, the most effective method is hormones and condoms in combination (plus spermicide if you're not sensitive to it) - but even then there's still a small chance.

Yes, you can become pregnant while on birth control, but it's rare. And I have no idea what the dark line on your stomach would mean.

YOu could always get pregnant all th epill does is reduce the chance.... the dark line that goes from your belly button to your pubic bone appears when you are in the later stages of pregnancy, allthough I am not quite sure what the purpose is...all i know is that I wish mine would go away I had my baby 2 weeks ago!

yea its not 100% effective. That line appears when you lean/bend down alot. Or it could be a stretch mark if it's there 24/7

as everyone was saying, yes you can become preg on birthcontrol. i take the pills. and i missed 2-3 days of it because i counldnt get my refill and i got preg. with my son.... some females are more fertile then others.

yes you can getpreg while on the BC. I got preg while on orthro tricyclen.. how ever you spell it... and IF YOU HAVE THE DARK LINE GOING DOWN UR STOMIC YOU ARE PREG... UNLESS U WERE JUST PREG AND IT IS STILL THERE.... TAKE A PREG TEST AND GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!

yea it is if you dont take it regularly of if you are on antibiotics aswell as antibiotics interfere with it.. you have a dark line on your stomach???

YOU SURE CAN GET PREGNANT WHILE ON BIRTH CONTROL, THAT LINE WAS ALWAYS ON YOUR STOMACH, WHEN YOU GET PREGNANT IT GETS DARKER, I CANT REMEMBER WHY.
